I love to share knowledge about the markets, the economic environment, and the financial services industry. Why? Because knowledge is power — and ultimately having money leads to more choices in life.
Allison runs one of the most beloved and long-standing events on Revel, a monthly investing club, and God knows we’re lucky to have her. As a Private Wealth Advisor at Ellevest, she says that her personal mission in life is “to help get more money in the hands of women.”
Raised in California by a single mom who worked two jobs and taught her how to budget at a very early age, Allison grew up curious about all things money — and by extension curious about the effects of not having money. She took her first economics class during the 1987 stock market crash and was hooked.
Allison offers two monthly sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, and you have to sign up early because there is often a waitlist. She starts each meeting with an insightful and quick overview of the market, and then takes questions and offers investment perspectives with everyone in the group. It’s always a candid and intimate conversation about financial planning, and completely free.
