Introducing Revel Power Hosts!

We're rolling out new features for hosts on Revel.

Once you’ve hosted five free events on Revel, you will automatically receive a brightly colored Power Host badge on your profile page.

As the Revel community approaches 20,000 members worldwide, with over 500 unique hosts and 5,000 total events on offer so far, we find ourselves marveling at the creativity, passion, and incredible array of expertise among our hosts. Revel values are around raising all women up, celebrating connection, and encouraging growth, intimacy, and personal development. To that end, we want to ensure that we are always recognizing and rewarding the women who, by virtue of their efforts, make the community as rich and surprising as it can be. Thus, the introduction of Power Hosts!

What is a Power Host?

Once you’ve hosted five events on Revel, you will automatically receive a brightly colored Power Host badge on your profile page. As a Power Host, you’ll receive dedicated customer support. You’ll also unlock a new option in the event-building process: the ability to charge a ticket price for your events.

How do paid events work on Revel?

As a Power Host, you’ll find a new option in the event-building process: the ability to charge a ticket price for your events. You may set a price between $5 and $250 for your events. As the host, you’ll take home 80% of net ticket sales after payment processing fees.

Paid events, as with all events at Revel, are subject to our event-approval process and must comport with our community guidelines. Within 72 hours of hosting your first event you'll receive an email instructing you to set up an account within our payment system, Justworks. You'll have the option to receive payment by check or direct deposit. Payments happen within 30 days of your event date.

Some caveats:

•You cannot have a co-host at a paid event for the time being, but this capability will come soon..

•You currently need to have a US-based address to host paid events, but again, we’re working on this as well.

Once I’m a Power Host, can I still host free events on the platform?

Yes, please do! We encourage you to participate and lead in the community in whatever variations and moods strike you, and we fully expect that the majority of Revel events will continue to be free.

How can I get support around hosting?

Jenny Douglas and Nina Collins will co-host virtual Power Host Q&As every Wednesday for the foreseeable future. Sign up and come get all your questions answered:
